In the middle of the night, I was on a highway in the middle of nowhere. Some police officers had me hide in a cramped little tollbooth office, while they went on some sort of covert mission. Only seconds after they began sneaking out into the night, I heard automatic gunfire, accompanied by numerous incidents of the phrase “officer down!” I panicked, and decided to get myself out of the tollbooth in fear that stray bullets would reach me. I wildly sprinted away from the action without having time to even look behind me. I still heard the gunfire in the distance, which I could only assume was targeted to me. My assumption was verified by the fact that they kept shining flashlights on me, so they certainly saw my get-away. This caused me to sprint even more furiously down the highway, which happened to be deserted. Soon, I was bounding great distances with each step. This was a combination of my adrenaline-fused terror, and the fact that earth's gravitational constant was decreasing. I bounded over the median, and also what appeared to be a small creek.
