I was bringing my digital camera with me in preparation for a trip. Despite the fact that I had 136 megabytes worth of flashcards, I still needed to purchase another flashcard. The purchase took place in the UB Student Union. I consulted someone at a service window who allowed me to browse through a narrow drawer that was packed full of flashcards. I somehow ended up getting to keep the entire drawer. Two girls a few years younger than me were following me around, and I kept making comments to them as though I had known them for a while.

I was in the car with Skulski, Mike, Corey, and Tony, who was driving. We had to get onto a specific road, which required navigation through a small icy on-ramp. Since there was traffic, he had to stop before entering, but the ice caused the car to slide. We were passing a small metal pole, and I decided to reach out the window and push against the pole to help stop the car. This caused Skulski to crack up. A short while later, still in the car, I looked out the back window and saw that my cat was out there. Apparently she was in the car with us the whole time, and had just now escaped. I begged Tony to stop the car so I could go and get her. By the time we stopped, some sort of long-haired snow monster had gotten my cat. It was gray and white, and had a gorilla-like posture. It was holding her by the tail in its mouth, with her body limp. In rage, I ran toward the monster, and it reacted by doing a back flip. It landed facing in the other direction, and ran away. Feeling frustrated and futile, I could only resort to making shrieking noises while running after it.
