My cousin Joe was sitting at my computer, telling me about various English projects he was working on. One of them was an apparently revolutionary description of some old lady. Suddenly my dad put me into his car and drove me away. This was a blatant interruption of Joe, and I could see his confused face as we pulled away. After I was taken about one block away, I got out of the car. Walking back home would be no real problem, except for the fact that my left shoe was missing. Despite this, I decided to run. Some sort of density in the atmosphere was slowing me down. By the time I got to my street, I was moving as though I was underwater, maybe even slower. A group of girls approached and passed me. I tried to be as nonchalant as possible amidst my delayed laws of physics. As I was making my way down my street, Jon Kaier approached me on a bicycle. I playfully executed an air kick toward his face, which ended up being tremendously dramatic due to my slow motion. Eventually, I was again able to move at normal speeds. In my driveway, David Roma and I were discussing how much we like Eminem. He said he wanted to do some sort of biography on the rapper. A handful of people were in my driveway playing basketball. I felt a bit left out around them, so I tried to impress them by sitting on a basketball and bouncing on it. Geoff was nearby on the floor near the garage, laughing at my antics. I bounced all the way down the driveway to the street. I stopped at the mailbox, and there was a bizarre green station wagon coming up the street. I was omniscient of the fact that it was apparently from the 1940's. I thought that was odd, because it looked like it was just Japanese and from the 1980's. It drove around on the lawn across the street from me.
