I was riding on the outside of a bullet train that was traveling over the ocean on elevated tracks. I was simply clinging onto the bottom of the right side of one of the cars. Corey Marie was also on the train, clinging behind me. We were chatting casually, and she showed me what had to be done when the train accelerated to full speed: We would have to slide our arms and legs into tight slots in the sides of the car so we would not have to worry about losing our grip. Our bodies were still hanging exposed, though. Just as the train began accelerating, we fastened our limbs into the slots. I was looking toward the direction of the train's travel, and I saw something I had never taken into consideration: a tunnel. This one was man-made, and was intentionally designed so that the cars of the train would fit into it with only centimeters to spare. The tunnel was approaching faster than my speed of realization. Our limbs were locked, and Corey Marie uttered something about the tunnel. Just before we hit it, all I could do was turn my head away. We were smeared down the side of the train in one second. There was a split second where it seemed like my body was transported about 10 meters away from the train, even though I felt all the pain and had been rendered completely blind from the impact.
