I had traveled to a foreign land. On the surface, it appeared to be something like an old Chinese town, but there were rivers running through everywhere, as though it was Venice. An Asian man joined my group. He had a thin fencing foil with a needle-sharp tip. I saw him bend this tip into a hook, which was apparently some sort of clever tactic. He then proceeded to attack a member of my group. The poor man was defenseless as the Asian man stabbed into his stomach, waited a moment, and then drew the sword straight down, tearing through him easily, exiting between his legs. The man was no longer able to stand, and he tried to pull himself away with his arms, but his attacker finally killed him with another stabbing. It made me flinch to watch. The attacker was soon gone from us. I found an area that looked like a tollbooth for people walking. It was a currency exchange facility. There was a nice American lady there to help me. I asked what a typical amount to exchange was for a tourist staying for two weeks. I believe she gave me 20 yen. Later, I was watching the news on television in a hotel room. They were showing a dispute in the middle of a dense crowd. A large man was threatening a skinny man with a pocketknife. Suddenly he quickly stabbed him in the stomach. The crowd was all over the injured man, but I got a brief glimpse of his face, on which there was a nearly black patch of blood. I saw the large attacker trying to escape, and I was shocked at what his face looked like. He had no facial features whatsoever; one might compare him to an egg. Yet attached to his face were two black metallic golf ball-sized objects that made me think of spiny plant spores. One was attached to where his right eye would be, and the other was where his nose would be. They were held into place by a series of thin metal bars going in all directions in and out of his face.
