A large tan van pulled into my driveway. Many portions of it were covered with 80's style decoration, which was in the form of parallel thick glowing lines of various shifting color. I walked up to the van to see who had arrived, and some kid was in the back seat, chattering to me annoyingly. I then spotted Mike Harkins, curled into a ball on the floor below the steering column. He was jokingly trying to make it look like the van has no driver. He drove me to Six Flags Darien Lake, where we anxiously stood in a long line waiting to ride a variant of the Viper. It occurred to me that the roller coaster might be more fun if I were to curl into a ball on the floor of the cart. I was later running home, and as I was approaching my street I discovered a tornado rapidly forming in the western clouds. My run became a desparate sprint to get into my house, but no matter how much effort I put forth, my body was only allowing me to move at about 80% capacity. I started to feel occasional large rain drops, but eventually the tornado dispelled. I went to my bedroom, and there were 8 to 12 people there already. Karen had Dan's guitar and was trying to pull the strap over her head so she could play. She got it on either backwards or upside-down, but that mattered little. Karen had the ability to change the appearance of her eyes so her irises beared an elaborate graceful pattern of browns and golds, reminiscent of henna or church architecture. I knew that she was displaying the eyes of Atrus, the protagonist of Myst [who never really had unique eyes]. I figured out how to make my eyes look like Atrus eyes as well, and it severely impaired my vision, making me see double. People saw me displaying Atrus eyes, so they deemed it appropriate to hand me the first Myst novel so I may read some passages out loud. The first page was lines of poetry, but my vision was so far out of my control that I could not even read one word. The first word might possibly have been "Know."
