Near the heavily trafficked intersection of Walden Avenue and Union Road there was a massive construction site. I entered a large central metal structure, about the size of a city office building, only its floors dive downward into the ground. Inside it was 100% monotonous clean dull yellow painted metal with factory-esque walkways and blunt railings everywhere. I went down the stairwell, noting that every floor was identical, with the exception that the deeper underground I went, the more silent and dark each floor became. By about 11 floors down I finally reached the bottom. There was never any sign of workers or activity or life in general, and the lighting was down to about half the normal brightness of the first floor. I was overwhelmed with simultaneous feelings of true silent privacy, and the nervousness that no one would ever find me if I needed help. I simply stood in a back corner and soaked in the silence, the cold industrial womb. It occurred to me that I was closer to Hell technically than ever before, which explained why I thought I detected a hint of red color in the air at this depth. I heard a noise behind me and suddenly saw the face of a stern old man dressed in a bright red ceremonial robe, reminding me of the current pope. He seemed annoyed that I was down here, eying me as he walked past, making me burn with the guilt of trespassing. This would be no sanctuary for me. I bolted back up the 11 floors of metal stairs quickly and quietly, panicking with eagerness to again see daylight. Later, I was driving in moderate traffic on Walden Avenue on a very sunny afternoon. Several of the cars in front of me suddenly lifted 8 to 12 meters off the ground and gently hovered, slanted. My car was partially lifting up and down. People were afraid that this was happening all over the planet. During one of my hovers, I peered down at the pavement directly below me and was somehow able to discern a cluster of translucent biological cells, microscopic yet enlarged, merging into a nearby car. Immediately I knew that that signified the beginning of the Fall of Man.
